Peyton Dancing at Six Flags Show

Peyton Clapping at Six Flags Show...

Six Flags on Mother's Day...

Mother's Day started off great with breakfast in bed. I really do appreciate the days when Buck gets Peyton up & I can just stay in bed a few more minutes. Then we headed to Six Flags to meet YaYa, Papa Joe, and Uncle Josh. We didn't stay too long, but it was a very relaxing and fun trip. I was so shocked at how excited Peyton was about riding everything...No fear yet. I am sure Buck thinks she is about ready for the coasters. She even sat through the Looney Tunes Talent Show clapping & dancing. Thanks to my family for a wonderful day. I love being a wife, mom, and daughter!

Exploring...

Some of my favorite moments with Peyton are when she is being spontaneous & learning, when she is exploring new things. She has "her" cabinet in the kitchen. This is the only one she is allowed to open, and for the most part she honors that. Anyway, this picture is from about a month ago. She just climbed right in the cabinet. I guess it was more fun that pulling everything out. It was even more fun watching her figure out how to get out.

My friends Farah & Lindsay both gave me a blogger award. I am glad I still have so many friends blogging...I am much better at keeping up with people this way!

So here are the rules:

1. When given the award you write about the seven things that you love

2. Pass the award to 7 bloggers that you love, and be sure to tag them and let them know they've won. (You can copy the picture of the award and paste it on your sideboard.)

Seven things that I love:

1. Jesus--He IS everything I need

2. Buck, the love of my life who I know will always be leading me on this journey

3. Peyton, who brightens everyday when she reaches for me

4. My friends & family who love me just as I am, but encourage & challenge me to grow

5. Food--I am God gave us something so enjoyable to do to sustain life!

6. Getting Away--vacations are way underated, short & long

7. Auburn--It's Great to be an Auburn Tiger!

Now I give this award to seven friends and bloggers.(this means you get to put this cute little award on your blog so don't let me down by not participating and passing it along.)

Our Trip to the Zoo...

Buck, Peyton, and I went to the zoo this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun! There were times when she wasn't sure what she was looking at, but there were some animals she really liked. She would wave and point to a lot. She really enjoyed the petting zoo, but her favorite exhibit was the new parakeet exhibit. You walk into and atrium with 500 parakeets. You can buy a feeding stick for $1 & they will fly right onto it and eat. She also got to get down and walk around in there chasing the parakeets. Overall, it was a good experience for our family.
